Here’s a race with a twist: a twisted ankle :)))
I’ve been injured 3 weeks ago and even though I’ve done everything by the book at first, rest was no longer the answer for me. The pain was still there, but I signed up for this race before the ankle incident, so there was no way I was going to miss a normal running event in my city.
I think it was for the first time I participated at the shortest distance. But is better than nothing, right?

I moved my 15k to the 7k and tried easy running, hoping not to make it worse. Also I had company on the way, which made me more confident.
IT WAS A SUCCESS!
I was expecting to be one of the last people to finish, but instead I was at the middle 🙂
